CICD Member Value Statement

As a member of the Chemical Industry Council of Delaware, your company will become a partner in our efforts to advocate for issues important to the chemical community. Additionally, our team will ensure that you are up to date on relevant legislation and regulation moving in Dover as well as on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Our advocacy team is able to offer social media toolkits to your company, organize legislative visits to your facilities for legislators and regulators alike and help promote your achievements on our Twitter feed. CICD serves our members and works tirelessly to advance the business of chemistry in Delaware.

Membership Specifics

A.    Full Membership

Full membership is available to organizations which have facilities in the State of Delaware engaged in the research, manufacture or sales of chemicals, pharmaceuticals or related products. Organizations may request admittance as Full Members in writing to the chairperson of the Council. Acceptance for Full membership requires a simple majority of the voting membership. 

B.     Associate Membership

The following types of organizations may be considered for acceptance as Associate Members of the Council:

 (1) Organizations which are actively engaged in the research, manufacture or sales of chemicals, pharmaceuticals or allied products, but which have no facilities within the State of Delaware.

 (2) Organizations with ongoing business relationships with the chemical industry who are interested in furthering the cause of the Council.

 Associate membership entitles member organizations to a non-voting role in Council activities.
